Help Lt. Dan Choi regain his job.
Hiya, folks,

In case you don't know, a man by the name of Lt. Dan Choi was just recently fired from his position as a linguist with the Army for being gay. He's fighting it, and could use your help.

Please go to this website and sign their online petition so he can deliver all of our signatures to Speaker Pelosi.

tsk, tsk, tsk about using a for real name. Somebody will have to spank you now. ;)

I talked to "She Who Must Not Be Named Publicly" on Friday and Saturday afternoon. I've been keeping up with her e-mails, but haven't heard much since the weekend about her mom or how she is doing herself. I'm a little leery of calling and interrupting her family stuff and stressing her out even more. I'll probably give her a call after work this evening.

Is there any new news?

Nothing new at the moment. I think she's supposed to be going home in the next day or so. I'm glad you spoke to her, I was asking if anyone knew if you'd been notified. Gotta keep our little family informed!!

Bunny and I organized a quick little thing and sent her mom some flowers yesterday.

She's going home already? That's good. She'll feel better in her own bed, and hopefully with some good drugs.

I saw the post about the flowers, but didn't see it until it was too late. :(

Smooches to you and Bunny and the fangirls for doing that for Xie and her mom. That was very kind of you. :)

It's okay, we just wanted to do something, and we wanted to get the flowers to her before they moved her.

Her mom is a sweetheart. Anything to make her, and Xie, feel better!
